Join
The Social Front is an association of organizations: workers’ collectives, trade unions, and formal and informal professional communities and associations. Membership is for organizations, not individuals. If you want to get involved as an individual, connect with a member from your sector or write to us so we can point you in the right direction.
Who can join
We call on workers’ collectives, trade unions, professional associations and communities that:
- support the students’ demands and the struggle for systemic change;
- accept the principles of the Declaration of the Social Front: direct democracy, solidarity and mutual aid, independence, and humanism;
- act independently of political parties, and of foundations and organizations that do not share the Front’s views and goals;
- are ready to take part in the work of their sector and in drafting the Program Minimum for their field.
How to apply
Send us an email with the following:
- the full name of your organization and its acronym, if any;
- the sector you work in (education, healthcare, culture, energy, IT, judiciary…);
- a short description: who you are, how you are organized and how many people you bring together;
- a contact person and an address for further communication;
- a statement that you accept the principles of the Declaration;
- a logo and the address of your website or social media profile, for the Members page.
Applications are reviewed by the sector you belong to, and the decision on admission is made by the Front’s general assembly in accordance with the Rules of Procedure. We reply to every application.
