Students in blockade have emphasized from the very beginning that workers are essential comrades in the struggle for change. After months of dialogue, this shared path was formalized with the founding of the Social Front.
Our front is a student initiative for the networking of students in blockade and workers — whether unionized or non-unionized — as well as all other civic groups striving for systemic changes.
We took to the streets for the first time on June 28, with a clear goal: the fulfillment of student demands, better conditions for workers, and long-term changes in the state and society. United by the ideas of solidarity and direct democracy, we remain independent of political parties.
We invite all worker collectives, trade unions, and professional associations that support our struggle to join us.
