We strongly condemn the decision to transform the public enterprise “Pošta Srbije” into a limited liability company (d.o.o.).
Although the state remains the owner, such a change opens the way for the enterprise to be broken up and its assets sold off to private owners. Public enterprises must not be treated as the private property of political parties, but as a public good belonging to citizens and workers.
We call on the worker collectives and trade unions at Pošta Srbije to stand shoulder to shoulder with their comrades in education, health, culture, and other sectors.
Public goods must be returned to where they belong — into the hands of workers and citizens.
